Time is running out to register for workshops with teachers  from around the country at the Fresno educational event this July.

Sign up within the next week for a minimum of two workshops, and you'll get a FREE set of Royal brushes from Mike Harbridge and you'll automatically be entered in a drawing for a digital Paragon Caldara XL kiln, capable of firing up to cone 10. Register by June 30, 2011 for this special offer. Those who have previously registered for two or more workshops will receive the brushes and entry.

As Fired Arts Educators we try to put together a program for your use that features education as the main purpose.  This is not a ceramic show; the event is a hands-on workshop, with Instructors from Texas,
Minnesota, Oregon, Colorado, Wisconsin and California.  For the most part classes are all inclusive, prices cover instructor fee, color and ware costs.  We have a great return rate from previous students and we like you to join us this year.  You may take only one class or several.  Many are taking seven classes over the four days.

Besides great classes other things are going on:

  1. A Free Tour of Duncan Ceramics will be held at 9:30 on the Wednesday Morning July 20, 2011.  Folks will meet at Duncan and should sign up in advance.
  2. There will be home cooked lunches each day available for purchase.  Lunches will include a terrific Salad, a hot entrée, desert and drink.  Lunches will be $9.00 each day.  This is a Great price also, no need to look for a place to eat, if the weather is hot, no need to be out in the heat and you can save gas, with the price of gas so outrages we try to save wherever we can.
  3. We will have Coffee, Tea, Water, Soda's available throughout the day and these will be on the house (meaning the teachers).
  4. We have a great Bar B Q on Friday night at the home of David Hoff.  Again, a full spread of summer-time delights will be presented for your eating enjoyment.  The Bar B Q is $15.00 which includes wine.
  5. There will be two raffles during the event.  The first raffle features a Paragon Kiln, David Hoff's Reno Event, and many miscellaneous items pertaining to Ceramics and Glass.  The second raffle held at the Bar B Q will feature Ceramic and Glass items completed by the presenting instructors.  This is always a popular feature to the event.

For more information regarding this event go to

www.firedartsworkshops.com and to register.  You can call any of the instructors or Sharon (David's Assistant) as well.  Sharon's number is 559 779-1470.  There are openings in all classes and we hope you will support us.
