“Relief Motif” on glass.
Relief Motif has a firing range from cone
015 to 6 high-fire.

Daisy Relief – Create this vase that features
our NEW “Designer
Lava Stone” Glaze as well as underglazes and
“Relief Motif” by Colors for Earth.
Learn how to combine underglazes, glazes
along with creating a design that is raised.
Relief Motif is a stand-up white textured
glaze that can be tinted, covers in one coat and
can be built up for designs.
Students will learn how to apply the Relief Motif over
glazes and create floral designs along with brush
stroke leaves and shading.
Students will receive detailed instructions
with step-by-step photos, use of color and brushes
with workshop fee.
Students will receive a #2 filbert and a 1
ounce jar of Relief Motif with workshop fee.

Welcome Sign — Learn to hand-build
“Welcome Sign” using clay with Renee Gehman.
Work with portable slab table, extruder,
pottery tools and texture stamps.
Decorate your sign with simple hand built
creations, or using a variety of press molds. Use
of all tools, clay, molds and other supplies
included in workshop fee.
Student should bring a take home box (12x12) with shredded
paper to transport item home.
A printed copy of detailed instructions
with photos will be given as part of the workshop
fee so you can recreate another piece at home or
teach in your studio.
